The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced a funding opportunity for the implementation of the Urban Health Activity in Uganda. This initiative aims to enhance health system resilience and improve the well-being of residents in Kampala city, Mukono, and Wakiso districts. With an estimated total program funding of $44,000,000, USAID plans to award a five-year Cooperative Agreement to strengthen public and private health systems at both facility and community levels. The initiative will focus on delivering quality services in maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), malaria, family planning, nutrition, and Global Health Security (GHS). Interested parties are encouraged to review the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for detailed application requirements. The deadline for applications is May 20, 2024.
