Description: The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued Program Announcement No.VBOC-2008-003 andwill issue Federal cooperative agreement awards to eligible nonprofit organizations to conduct Veteran’s Business Outreach Center (VBOC) projects. The projects are to provide outreach, assessment, long and short-term business training, counseling, directed referring, electronic or on-line assistance and other technical assistance services to veteran, service disabled veteran and US Military Reserve Component business owners and entrepreneurs, including discharging service members eligible for participation in the DOD/DOL Transition Assistance Program. Under this program announcement, the project period is five (5) years. The initial budget period is for 12 months, with the possibility of four additional (option) years.
