Additional Information

Agency Name: Maryland State Office
Description: The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is accepting applications from eligible applicants to enter into a cooperative agreement with NRCS to provide perennial forage production studies, to provide technology transfer directly to farmers throughout the state of Maryland and to teach to agricultural professionals the various findings and other technical concepts for use in rotational grazing systems.
A total of $15,000 is currently available for the cooperative agreement. It is anticipated that an additional $60,000 could become available before the end of the fiscal year, subject to the availability of funds being appropriated by Congress which could raise the total program funding to $75,000. This additional $60,000 however is not guaranteed.
