| Description: | The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a Single Source for Cooperative Agreement to California Department of Water Resources (DWR), 901 P Street, Sacramento, California 95814 under the authority of CFDA 15.533, Water Supply, Reliability, and Environmental Improvement Act, Public Law 108-361, Section 103, for the following program: CALFED Storage Program.
DWR shall coordinate and manage CALFED Storage Program resources to support ongoing storage investigations with Reclamation, cooperating agencies, and stakeholders according to the tasks specified herein. Activities include, but are not limited to: 1) reviewing and providing comments on documents, procedures, and data; 2) continuing public involvement and outreach; 3) collecting, conducting, documenting, and managing the results of engineering, economic, and environmental analyses in coordination with Reclamation and concerned stakeholders, and in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements; 4) preparing, reviewing, and revising Storage Program documents supporting feasibility reports and related environmental documents (e.g., Environmental Impact Statements and Reports; EIS and EIR); and 5) coordinating with other water resources planning efforts. Period of performance is from the date of award to September 30, 2009. Estimate award date: on or about February 20, 2009. Estimated total award amount: $1,000,000.00 A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) applies to this announcement.
