The National Park Service is funding a project with Western Kentucky University to create interpretive and educational resources focusing on bats at MACA. This collaborative effort aims to increase public awareness regarding bat importance and threats to their survival. The project includes developing new Visitor Center exhibits, constructing a website, organizing a ‘Bat Day’ event, and sharing current research findings.
