This department is offering the Youth Leadership Program ‘TechGirls’ for nonprofit organizations to conduct a three- to five-week exchange program in the U.S. in Summer 2012. The program aims to promote the study of technology for high school girls from the Middle East and North Africa, empowering them to pursue education and careers in technology. U.S. Embassies will recruit and select participants, providing academic study and support for girls with an interest in technology. Proposals must be submitted by Dec 15, 2011.
