The US Geological Survey, Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center is offering funding opportunities through the Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, Chesapeake Watershed CESU for CESU Partners to conduct research on remote sensing and land cover monitoring. Projects include developing continuous field data for South America and the world using Landsat satellite data, annual updates on global land cover data, validation with high-resolution satellite images, and creating methodologies for operational land cover monitoring.
