The NIDDK Inflammatory Bowel Disease Genetics Consortium (IBDGC) is seeking Genetic Research Centers (GRCs) to identify susceptibility genes for IBD. This grant aims to continue discovering genetic variants predisposing individuals to IBD and integrating various -omic methodologies to understand their effects on the disease’s pathophysiology. GRCs will enroll IBD patients, relatives, and healthy controls for studies, conducting laboratory-based research on their biological samples. Principal Investigators of GRCs will be part of the IBDGC Steering Committee, making operational decisions for the consortium.
