The purpose of the grant is to prepare the youth and other employees and managers of affiliated museums and historic sites, for the World Acadian Congress in 2014. The Council is responsible for paying four youth and one coordinator, tracking Youth Grant expenses and receipts, and maintaining the program budget. The Council will provide round-trip transportation to safely transport participants to park units at the beginning of their training assignment and return them at the end of their assignment; provide travel allowance for participants during their training assignments away from their normal duty stations. The Council will work with NPS to hire and provide support to the paid staff of the Youth Grant. |
