The DOD offers the Breast Cancer Clinical Translational Research Award to support innovative projects aiming to improve breast cancer prevention and therapy by introducing new treatments or preventing disease progression. Principal Investigators and collaborators can propose advanced translational research leading to prospective clinical trials, or leverage industry partnerships. Applicants must provide preliminary data, a solid rationale, and proof of concept in an in vivo system. Projects must demonstrate the ability to translate research findings into impactful clinical outcomes. The closing date for applications is August 15, 2012.
