The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is offering funding to support a national membership and accreditation organization for children’s advocacy center programs. Children’s advocacy centers play a crucial role in providing a coordinated response to child abuse victims through multidisciplinary teams. This grant will enable the recipient to provide services to a national membership body and implement accreditation standards. The program aims to enhance the effectiveness of interventions, prevention efforts, prosecution, and investigation systems for child abuse cases. Funding is authorized under the Victims of Child Abuse Act, 42 U.S.C. §§113001, 13002. Deadline for applications: May 08, 2012.
