The U.S. Department of Labor is offering a grant of up to $5 million to combat child labor in South Asia and/or South East Asia. The grant aims to reduce child domestic work through cooperative agreements with organizations. The Office of Child Labor, Forced Labor and Human Trafficking works towards eliminating the worst forms of child labor internationally. Specific details such as target groups, sectors, and funding levels will be included in the solicitation for grant applications. Organizations interested in applying should refer to NOI-Child Domestic Work-Southeast Asia 3 before the closing date on December 30, 2012.
