The National Institute of Corrections is offering a grant for organizations, groups, or individuals to implement the Transition from Jail to Community (TJC) model in at least two California counties. This initiative is in response to California’s Assembly Bill (AB) 109 realignment. The selected recipient will enter into a 30-month cooperative agreement to facilitate this transition from jail to the community.
