The U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative is offering grants for applicants to continue the MEPI Alumni Network projects in Lebanon and Bahrain. The projects aim to establish MEPI Alumni Network Local Chapters and strengthen the capacity of existing alumni groups in the region. Applicants must demonstrate an on-the-ground presence or ability to establish one through local partners. The grants are a continuation of initiatives started in September 2011, focusing on building a network connecting over 11,000 MEPI alumni. Closing date for applications is December 3, 2012.
