This department is offering a grant to support the coordination of the 2015 NEA Jazz Masters Announcement, Awards Ceremony & Concert, and related activities. The grant aims to honor up to three jazz musicians and one jazz advocate for their exceptional contributions to the advancement of jazz. The ceremony, scheduled for April to coincide with Jazz Appreciation Month, will recognize living legends in the jazz community. Applicants can propose event locations across the U.S., with preference given to venues in Washington, DC. Subsequent Cooperative Agreements may be awarded based on agency priorities and Cooperator performance. Closing date for applications is January 02, 2014.
