The goal of NCORP is to build upon the scope and activities of NCI’s previously supported community networks, the Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) which includes CCOP community sites (CCOPs), Minority-Based CCOP sites (MB-CCOPs), and CCOP Research Bases, and NCI’s Community Cancer Centers’ Program (NCCCP) by establishing a single community-based research program.
