The Office on Violence Against Women offers Transitional Housing Assistance Grants aimed at providing holistic support for victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. The program assists victims in transitioning to permanent housing by offering a range of flexible services tailored to individual needs. Services may include counseling, support groups, safety planning, advocacy, child care, employment support, and more. Case managers help survivors set and achieve goals towards securing permanent housing. Applications can be submitted through the DOJ Grants Management System and Grants.gov due to an outage on the SAM.gov site. Closing date for applications is April 4, 2013.
