The National Park Service is offering a grant for aquatics monitoring in the Sonoran Desert Network. This project involves NPS Sonoran Desert Network Physical Science Technicians collaborating with Student Conservation Association interns to monitor water quality and quantity in streams, as well as deploying weather stations in various park units in southern Arizona. The grant aims to enhance understanding and preservation of the unique aquatic ecosystems in the Sonoran Desert Network region. Deadline for application submission is September 10, 2013.
