This grant aims to protect 185 acres of coastal strand habitat in the Moomomi Preserve by constructing a 6-7 foot fence to prevent intrusion of Axis deer, feral/stray cats, and dogs. The project includes the removal of these invasive species within the fenced area. This initiative not only safeguards the habitat but also offers technical and financial support to partners for the conservation of priority coastal areas, benefiting the public and wildlife.
