The U.S. Department of Energy is looking for innovative practices in designing equitable and sustainable revolving loan funds (RLFs) to enhance energy efficiency financing. This initiative, in response to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, aims to allocate $250 million to help states establish RLFs for energy audits, upgrades, and retrofits. Stakeholders can share their insights by submitting responses to this Request for Information (RFI) by May 6, 2022. While this RFI does not offer financial support, it seeks to gather valuable input to potentially shape future Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) that support the development of effective RLF programs.
