The Department of Anti-Corruption announces a three-year $1.05 million grant program aimed at strengthening civil society in Bosnia and Herzegovina to advocate for anti-corruption reforms necessary for European integration. This grant, called the Anti-Corruption Civic Organizations’ Unified Network (ACCOUNT), will be awarded to a local Bosnian NGO to act as a coordinator among local organizations, fostering collaboration and building capacity to tackle corruption issues. The selected NGO will lead efforts to create informal networks and thematic consortiums to increase the impact of anti-corruption work in the region. Applications are accepted until December 12, 2011.
