Within that area, the Rawlins Field Office is responsible for the management of 3.5 million acres of public lands and approximately 4.5 million acres of federal mineral estate. Interns will target locations to determine if projects have been developed and are being operated according to all applicable jurisdictions. Environmental impacts, the effectiveness of conditions of approval (COA), and the success of reclamation (post-use land restoration) will all be monitored. Benefits: A. Assistance for BLM Natural Resource Specialists and other fluid mineral staff (e.g., managers, compliance technicians, and administrative staff) as they implement oil and gas compliance monitoring programs and actions.
