Colorado Parks and Wildlife is offering the Youth Corps Initiative to engage Colorado youth in outdoor development and maintenance of recreational trails on public lands. Participants will also learn about co-existing with wildlife and preserving their habitats. This grant aims to empower young individuals to contribute to the conservation and upkeep of natural spaces. The closing date for applications is September 9, 2011.
