The US Geological Survey, USA National Phenology Network (USA-NPN) is offering a grant to enhance scientific understanding of climate variability’s link to phenology on broad spatial scales. The goal is to predict phenology using meteorological and climatological forecasts. This grant aims to develop gridded surface products at regional to continental scales for carbon cycling, understanding climate impacts on ecosystems, and natural resource management. Specifically, this funding opportunity focuses on creating national-scale products for Spring Indices to be computed from various instrumental datasets.
