The Cooperative Ecoystem Studies Unit, Californian CESU is offering a grant for the development of an integrated 2D/3D seismic-reflection model in Miami-Dade County, Florida. This research will focus on mapping seismic horizons, faults, karst features, and porosity, and assessing the probability of vertical fluid migration. The quality of these products relies on data acquisition, processing, and model exportation, enabling groundwater-flow simulations to evaluate the risk of wastewater migration into drinking-water supply zones.
