The Department of Agriculture’s Special Research Grants Program (PMAP) aims to support the development and implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) practices to address specific pest challenges and reduce risks to humans and the environment. This initiative aligns with the goals of the ‘National Roadmap for Integrated Pest Management’ to combat emerging pest problems and resistance to current management technologies. The focus is on enhancing pest management strategies in commercial production, particularly in specialty crops, as well as other agricultural sectors. Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to apply before the closing date on April 01, 2013.
