The Department of Defense offers the Era of Hope Scholar Award to support early-career individuals with high innovation potential in breast cancer research. This grant aims to recognize exceptionally talented scientists who exhibit creativity, vision, productivity, and leadership potential in the breast cancer research community. Applicants should propose innovative contributions towards ending breast cancer, demonstrating the ability to challenge current practices and think beyond tradition. While prior breast cancer research experience is not mandatory, applicants must commit at least 50% of their full-time effort to breast cancer research. The closing date for applications is April 19, 2012.
