The Department of Energy is offering a grant to establish a Clean Energy Manufacturing Innovation Institute aiming to accelerate the decarbonization of the industrial sector. This initiative focuses on developing and scaling electrified process heating technologies, with the participation of industry, academia, and other key stakeholders. The Institute will work on creating electrified heating solutions, optimization tools, technology evaluation methodologies, and workforce training programs to support the implementation of these innovative technologies.
