The Department of Energy (DOE) is offering a grant through the Academia-Industry Collaboration (AIC) Program to enhance synchrophasor engineering education. This grant aims to provide university researchers and students access to production-grade synchrophasor data from utility distribution systems. By creating a curriculum and training program, universities can develop a skilled workforce to meet the needs of the electricity industry. Eligible institutions must be U.S. Colleges, Universities, or University-affiliated Research Institutions with accredited programs. The deadline for application submission is January 15, 2013.
