The Department of Energy is inviting U.S. universities and colleges with research reactors to apply for grants aimed at upgrading and enhancing the infrastructure of nuclear research and training reactors. The program seeks to strengthen the academic community’s nuclear engineering capabilities by supporting projects that attract high-quality students, enhance basic research and education in nuclear science and engineering, and facilitate relevant R&D aligned with DOE-NE’s mission.
