This Department of Energy’s Request for Information seeks public input on research priorities, managing mechanisms, and partnering opportunities for a Critical Materials Research, Development, Demonstration, and Commercialization (RDD&CA) Program. The RFI focuses on integrating annual appropriations for critical minerals and materials, as well as priorities and strategies for innovation, efficiency, supply chain research, job quality, equity, market adoption, and industry sustainability. While not a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), the RFI may inform potential future FOAs based on the responses. Public input is encouraged until the closing date on September 9, 2022.
