The Department of Health and Human Services is offering transition grants for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) as part of the CHILDREN?S HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM REAUTHORIZATION ACT (CHIPRA). These grants aim to help State CHIP programs comply with Section 503 by developing a prospective payment system (PPS) or alternative payment methodology (APM) for FQHCs and RHCs. The goal is to ensure proper payment for services provided by these healthcare facilities. Eligible organizations can apply for funding before the closing date on Mar 12, 2012.
