The Department of Health and Human Services is offering the Lifespan Respite Care Program grant to develop and enhance respite care services at State and local levels. The grant aims to provide support for family caregivers looking after children or adults by offering respite care services, training and recruiting respite care workers and volunteers, providing information on available respite services, and assisting caregivers in accessing these much-needed services. The closing date for applications is May 14, 2012.
