The Department of Homeland Security’s Career Development Grant (CDG) program promotes collaboration between the homeland security and scientific communities. It provides undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships to students in HS-STEM fields at U.S. four-year colleges. The goal is to cultivate a new generation of homeland security professionals. The program focuses on accredited institutions offering homeland security-related STEM programs. Applications are limited to one per department, with support for students pursuing careers in the seventeen specified HS-STEM areas. The deadline for submission is March 22, 2012.
