The National Integration Center is offering this grant to further the National Preparedness system and NIMS by establishing consistent resource deployment systems for mutual aid during all-hazard incidents. This grant aims to enhance State capabilities in providing rapid assistance to affected areas, minimizing the reliance on Federal disaster funds for aid. Through EMAC, states can efficiently request and receive assistance from other members, addressing liability and reimbursement concerns upfront. Applications accepted until August 30, 2013.
