The Great Basin Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (CESU) is awarding a non-competitive action grant to The Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This funding supports a collaborative project aiming to recruit, train, and retain volunteers who will monitor cultural sites in Clark County, Nevada. The goal is to establish a voluntary workforce dedicated to the regular oversight of cultural sites on federal public lands in Southern Nevada. Application deadline: Feb 17, 2012.
