Great Basin Institute is offering an internship program for young science interns interested in California Condor conservation. The program provides doctoral level support and interdisciplinary expertise, granting interns the opportunity to earn academic credit through a network of regional Universities. With a history of leveraging funds and offering cost-sharing, GBI secures additional benefits such as AmeriCorps Education Awards for student loan debt reduction. In the inaugural year, $22,000 is allocated for the program. Deadline for applications is August 5, 2014.
