The U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) offers local grants in the Middle East and North Africa to promote positive change, civic activism, and empowerment. These grants aim to strengthen civil society, empower women and youth, enhance the rule of law, and support independent media. Managed by MEPI’s Med Region and Arabian Peninsula Regional Offices, proposals are accepted on a rolling basis with each U.S. Embassy or Consulate having a unique selection process. Any organization with a headquarters office located outside of these countries cannot apply to this program.
