The National Institute of Corrections is offering a grant for the development of a Corrections Learning Professional Competency Model. This project aims to identify workplace competencies, knowledge, skills, and training strategies needed by correctional learning professionals. The model will guide the future development and delivery of corrections learning work and serve as a foundation for learning professionals in the field of corrections. Proposals from organizations, groups, or individuals are welcomed for a twelve-month project period, aligning with the NIC’s goal to enhance professional competency in the corrections sector.
