The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) is offering a grant for organizations, groups, or individuals to implement a blended-learning training program focusing on developing an agencywide approach for women offenders. The 18-month cooperative agreement will involve working closely with NIC staff and demonstrating expertise in evidence-based, gender-responsive research, curriculum delivery, and collaboration with correctional leadership. Applicants must showcase their knowledge and experience in policy, programming, and operation of women’s jails, prisons, and community supervision agencies. The deadline for applications is August 15, 2012.
