This department is offering the NIH StARR (R38) grant program to recruit and retain postdoctoral-level health professionals interested in becoming clinician-investigators. The grant supports institutions in providing mentored research opportunities for Resident-Investigators and helping them transition to individual career development research awards. Funding is available for up to 2 years for research conducted within structured programs for clinician-investigators.
