The National Cancer Institute (NCI) is offering the TEAM grant through the NIH Research Education Program (R25) to enhance the diversity of the cancer biomedical workforce by supporting scholars from underrepresented backgrounds. The grant will pilot test the use of training champions at minority-serving institutions to develop educational activities and scientific career programs for scholars, including predoctoral and postdoctoral fellows, and early-stage investigators. The program aims to provide navigation, training, and resources to assist scholars in identifying funding opportunities, networking with NCI/NIH program directors, and preparing competitive grant applications. The focus will be on Courses for Skills Development and Mentoring Activities. Closing date is Feb 10, 2023.
