This NIH grant aims to support foreign institutions in African countries to establish H3Africa biorepositories for receiving, storing, and distributing samples from H3Africa and other African genomic research projects. In collaboration with the Wellcome Trust, this initiative seeks to build sustainable research capacity in Africa by leveraging genomics to improve health outcomes and address diseases. Applications are encouraged to contribute to the advancement of research infrastructure in Africa. Closing date for applications is December 19, 2011.
