The NOAA Sea Grant is offering a grant of $1,600,000 for FY 2013 and FY 2014 to fund marine aquaculture extension and technology transfer efforts, promoting sustainable ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes aquaculture. The grant supports aquaculture in the Great Lakes or its coastal zone, requiring proposals to request a maximum of $300,000 federal funding for up to a two-year period with matching funds. Partnership with local community governments, state and Federal agencies, and industry is essential.
