The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is offering the Ethnic Community Self-Help Program to fund initiatives connecting newcomer refugees with community resources. The goal is to empower ethnic communities representing refugee populations to provide ongoing support and services post-resettlement. Applications for funding are being accepted until February 24, 2010. Changes in funding include a reduction in the total funding to $2,000,000 and anticipated awards from 16-25 to 15-18 for FY 2010 with a maximum individual award of $200,000.
