The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention is offering the CASA Membership and Accreditation Program grant to ensure abused and neglected children have quality representation in dependency court hearings. This grant supports regional, state, and local CASA organizations in providing membership and accreditation services to volunteer advocates. The program aims to partner with child welfare stakeholders to uphold the Victims of Child Abuse Act’s mandate of securing timely advocacy for every victim of child abuse. Applicants must assist in enhancing the support systems for abused and neglected children involved in dependency proceedings. Closing date for applications is May 14, 2012.
