The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is offering the Legal Assistance for Victims (LAV) Grant Program to provide civil and criminal legal aid to adult and youth victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. The grant supports law school clinics, domestic violence programs, bar associations, and other entities to offer direct legal services and training for lawyers and advocates representing these victims. The goal is to create innovative projects that deliver quality representation in legal matters related to abuse and violence. This opportunity does not cover criminal defense services. Application deadline is March 26, 2012.
