Public Diplomacy Asuncion is providing grants for teaching advanced English as a second or foreign language to groups of disadvantaged high school and undergraduate students in the greater Asuncion metropolitan area. Programs should focus on conversational ability, U.S. culture, values, and democratic ideals, with class sizes of 20-25 students. Each award can receive up to $25,000 for programs lasting no longer than 2 years, requiring a minimum of 4 hours of instruction per week. Non-profit organizations in Paraguay are encouraged to apply before the closing date on Aug 30, 2013.
