Sul Ross State University will be conducting research to monitor and mitigate the impact of saltcedar beetles on Athel Trees in the Rio Grande-Rio Bravo Basin, specifically in Big Bend National Park. This grant focuses on the second year of the project and aims to assess the effects of the beetles on the trees. Closing date for submissions is July 13, 2013.
