The U.S. Mission to Ghana has announced a funding opportunity for projects under the title “PEPFAR MEDIA TRAINING AND HIV ANTI-STIGMA PROGRAMS.” With a total program funding of $75,000, the initiative aims to combat HIV stigma and discrimination through media training and community engagements. Eligible applicants, including nonprofits with a 501(c)(3) status, are invited to submit proposals by the closing date of July 30, 2024. The selected organizations will implement media training for journalists on HIV and organize community engagements to address stigma and discrimination related to HIV.
